FIBERGLASS FAILURES

My Fiberglass Pool Story 1

Six years ago I had my pool fiberglassed by SUNRISE LEISURE and it failed. The gelcoat (topcoat) all but disappeared where blistering, cracking and delamination took place. It became necessary to rip out the entire fiberglass shell and replace it with UltraGuard. SUNRISE LEISURE would not stand behind their warranty. They are not a reputable company.

My Fiberglass Pool Story 2

SUNRISE LEISURE in May of 1999 fiberglassed my pool with a 25-year warranty. I called them this year to notify them that the fiberglass was pulling away from the pool and had other failures. They told me I have no warranty that SUNRISE LEISURE went bankrupt and they are a new company that's now located in Delaware. Their website and logo says they have been in business since 1978. In reality they are misrepresenting and will not stand behind any of their warranties.

Can you help me fix this problem with your UltraGuard?

Jeanne,
I think the name of the company was Sunrise Leisure, someplace in
Delaware. Warranty had enough holes in it to drive a tank through.
Basically not at all a professional job.

We are your local contractor or you could do it yourself.
Who fiberglassed your pool? Did they offer you a warranty?

I have a fiberglass over concrete in-ground pool, fiberglass
installed 3 years ago. Color faded in first year and I am now getting peeling. Do you folks resurface or just sell the material to do it yourself?

Thanks'

BE AWARE PA, NJ and DE RESIDENTS this company misrepresents and is fraudulant. The attorney general and the better business bureau are now looking at them. SUNRISE LEISURE is not a company you can trust. Call us before you sign any contracts. We have names and phone numbers of customers that are now going to sue them.
