Sani-Tred

Sani-Tred is a rubber membrane that has been used in thousands of pools that have structural problems and when pools leak. Their membrane, if applied properly, will last many years but it needs a painted topcoat which is an epoxy coating. Click here and find what we feel is a superior way of stopping all leaks in a pool where our clients will never have to paint their pools every 2-3 years because they were using an epoxy paint on top of Sani-Tred.

Here is the Email and Picture we received about the Failed Sani-Tred Product

Subject: pool restoration
Date: Sun, 20 May 2007 16:46:14

I'm sure you won't remember me, but I have called a couple of times about my pool situation. It has a concrete flloor and poured concrete block walls. I used Sanitred on the bare concrete and painted with National hi build epoxy paint.

After 2 years, the paint began to peel in sheets. The paint and the Sanitred have bubbled in some areas and only the paint in others.

I have been trying to remove the paint and the Sanitred with a pressure washer. Some of the paint is stubborn, but some of the sanitred is nearly impossible to remove.

You said that you are testing to see if Ultraguard will bond with the sanitred. This will make a big difference in how to proceed with the restoration.

Please let me know at your earliest about the results.

Thanks,

Lankford Brown
